I put this rifle together to match my NRL Hunter rifle. Plan was to have a lower cost, lighter recoiling rifle for practice. Slow the rounds down so I can learn to watch trace and read the wind, etc.

I dont have time to manage multiple rifle systems. Two of everything, twice the load development, twice the cost... you get the idea.

This will make a great deer and hog rifle...

Rifle: $2850
Origin SA (Beadblasted)
PBB 20" 7mm BR, Light Palma
McMillan MTN Tracker
Hawkins Hunter DBM
TT Special
MDT Backcountry bipod
2 - MDT 10rnd BR mags

Load Components: $200
400 - Peterson 7BR Brass
RCBS Dies

I have $3600 in everything, selling for $3000

(Vortex AMG not included, but might let it go)

I planned on running the Berger 140gr VLDs. Based on Quickload projections, it should run 2500-2600fps.

At the OBT node, its at 2560fps.

That just edges out the 308s 168 FGMM loads. Slightly less drop and drift with equal energy on target. BUT 65% less recoil!
