No doubt it will ever come back! The good ole days are gone.

Antis got it to a public vote and majority of the people who voted and decided our fate probably had not even seen a bear in their life.

Easy to persuade people . Bears are so fury and cute!!

So now we have tons of problem bears and the DOW has to kill them because they are "problem" bears! Literally hundreds of bears are killed each year and gone to waste. Hope the anti hunters are happy

Ban hunting bears when they should be hunted, and legalize smoking pot... Colorado has a funny way of letting the dumbest M.F'ers and those that contribute nothing make the decisions....

In a perfect world, you'd have to donate whatever a spring bear tag would cost, in order to VOTE AGAINST a spring bear hunt. That would be perfect, because we know those hippies don't have enough dough to do that...

I would say it's less of a "hippie" problem and more of a yuppie problem. All those Denver and other front range city folks are more to blame. Lots of good down to earth folks on the front range but way more that are not of the same mind set as us.

I dunno' if it's hippies or yuppies, but they are undoubtedly uneducated on wildlife funding and the outdoors and probably clueless in general. Hiking a couple 14ers and seeing a mountain goat on Mt. Evans makes everybody an expert and qualified to vote down hunting seasons.

Boulder will definitely be in Eastmans MRS section. Hopefully I can hunt it before it gets discovered.

Too late. Boulder has been right near the top of the list for decades. But unfortunately CO now also has other hotspots as well like Durango, Telluride, Buena Vista, and Carbondale. They've really taken over here.

I live in Buena Vista, and find it very hunter friendly. Where did you get that info?
