Colorado season changes

80/20 should be the bare minimum even for low demand hunts, and more like 90/10 for high demand. Colorado gets absolutely hammered. Every other state puts their residents first, Colorado needs to do the same. If you want to hunt it that bad, move here.

Regarding calling or visiting a CPW office....

They don't even know their own regulations!
As someone who lives in Grand Junction, they are terrible. The only people who actually know the laws are the wildlife officers, unfortunately they are spread so thin they don't have time to help people. The office staff is about as useful as the person behind the Walmart counter.

I noticed CPW has the season dates through 2026 posted. I thought these were set up in 5 year increments?

That document is from 2019....

I appreciate your guys advice and thank you! For those that have hunted the 9/2 opener are you guys still seeing bucks in velvet and out of the timber?? Where I hunt in Idaho and Oregon by about the 4th they are hard horned and heading into the timber
