Colorado Mt Goat preference points

How many points are you guys seeing it take for a non resident to draw a Mt Goat tag in Colorado? Thanks for your help

After 3 points it’s “random.” You can never count on drawing a tag... but could get lucky the first year you are eligible.

For some, but no not really. Odds are super slim but you are not eligible to even pull a tag for the first three years you apply. You have plenty of time to figure out the odds for all the units in that time frame.

Are you a Colorado Resident? Theoretically goat has better odds than sheep because less people put in for them. But if you are a Non-resident you can never plan on drawing one. That goes for probably every sheep and mt goat tag in the L48! Residents in most states have better odds but are still about 1% (compared to 0.1% for NR)
