Colorado leftover tags

Man, I try to pull a tag off this list every year, and only a handful of times have ever made it to the form. Anyone got any tricks?

-One would only be able to buy a limited license that they applied for as one of their four choices in the primary application.
I'd be OK with that. There are only about 4 elk tags that I even look for on the list every week.

But I sure preferred the older way they did it........online didn't start until the day after reissue day. I was 4 for 4, now 0 for 5 since they changed it........and soon to be 0 for 6. That's pretty bad, especially since some of the tags I've tried to get have had 7-10 available.

I'm the same way. I have a handful of hunt codes for each species that I know I could go out and be in the mix that day. In my eyes, the reissue should reward people who have scouted and would give up all other opportunities by pre-designating (via the primary draw) what they want to bet on.

Hoping I can snag one of several hundred leftovers from the new non res archery draw units. They really went generous with the quotas. No surprise.

You could’ve done that in the Youth Draw…. errrr ….. Secondary Draw. ;)
