Don’t think residents necessarily meet the native qualification always.

How does everyone feel about the deer draw

I feel OK about it. Some will draw and some won't. I'm pretty sure I'll draw my preference point, as that was my first choice. I always wonder why the emails they send out say "unsuccessful" when I got my first and only choice. My first thought is always "wait, so you're saying I didn't get a point"?

My in-laws are from the UP of Michigan. Every “Yooper“ I’ve ever met from the UP is usually pretty proud of where they’re from and usually pretty quick to differentiate themselves from other MI residents not from the UP.

I’m guessing the you feel the same way since you’ve got “yooper” in your username.

I‘d propose instead of “Well Known Roksliders“, we should all be classified as to natives or non-natives (and probably what generation native) of the state we‘re residing in.

Qualifications:
1). Born in Colorado.
2). Resides in Colorado.
3). Does not have any bumper sticker, window sticker, permanent or temporary tattoo, clothing or apparel accessory, or house sign saying "native".
4). Does not have a pet named after a ski resort.
5). Did not attend University of Colorado in any manner other than socially.
6). Does not talk about the weather fluctuations like they abnormal.
