Colorado Draw Report - Elk 2025

Don’t know if I found a glitch in the matrix but the 2025 Colorado draw report was posted for maybe 10 minutes today, just long enough for me to download. Not sure if they found errors or just accidentally posted too early. I’d be happy to send screen shots of your hunt code for the nominal fee of one honey hole per!

Tuesdays seem to be the release date for stuff so maybe the 17th?

You can also do a little research and find out what units have leftover tags now by looking at the balance remaining on the draw stats

Pretty amazing that a hunt I could have drawn two years ago (with two fewer points) is now out of reach for me at my current point level.

Pretty amazing that a hunt I could have drawn two years ago (with two fewer points) is now out of reach for me at my current point level.

I think guys are realizing that premier units are statistically perpetually out of reach and have given up chasing the white rabbit. They're settling for mid tier tags and taking the hit by over paying a little.

That's exactly what happened to me. I was applying for an Elk RFW property and it left the program before I even got close. I switched to another and could never catch up so finally settled on hunt that I had more preference points than needed. I ended up doing the same thing for Deer this year. "Maybe I might draw it next year..." gets old.
