Probably point creep, but there are several area's that had tags cut too so that is a likely culprit as well.

This unit in particular had no license quota changes, maybe all the cuts sent people else where. 5 points was a sure thing last year and I applied with 8 this year............hopefully they are just screwed up!

No draws for either of us so far this year. I guess luck had to catch up with us sooner or later.

Edit: Well, my Dad drew the deer tag I had last year. Less than 10% chance of that! I'm excited!

I have 591 indicating I drew, but also have the 491 code. Wondering if that means I didn't draw 1st choice but drew 2nd choice? Glad to have the 500 code either way! I may do a scouting trip in the summer, what's a little measly 1,000 miles?

491 is your application code, it has nothing to do with 1st or 2nd choice, you won't know what tag till the results are officially posted

Anyone have a copy of last years leftover list for deer the day it came out? Is so could you PM me. I'd like to start narrow down what area (close to home) makes the most sense.

Does it make a difference whether the 591 code is on the right or the left? Just realized that the 491/591 orientation is opposite of what robby's shows.
