Just wondering if you guys have found the same in your collections.

We all have noticed, or at least read about the significant color difference in the KUIU attack pants. New pants looking faded.

I have noticed that some companies are exceptionally good at color, regardless of material.
I own many pieces of Sitka clothing. I have noticed that from the base layers to the ouster layers, to puffy jackets, across the line, sitka has very consistent color in both the open country and the elevated II patterns as well as the waterfowl pattern.

I have noticed that there is SIGNIFICANT difference in Krypteks colors as the materials change.

Just in case you are wondering if those are not the same pattern, thinking I just bought wrong.........
Check the printed words on the two patterns.

If this bugs you, avoid the Fusion Cordura like Kifaru, AGC and FHF use as it isn't even close to the stuff from First Lite.

As far as how Sitka does it, I'm sure they just make more of an effort than the others. Also, it might have something to do with scale. Sitka is doing enough volume that they might be able to afford a different dye technique for each material whereas the smaller companies probably do the same process for each material.

I rarely even look at the patterns or colors on my clothing. As long as it fits and is comfortable and is made out of good material......I'm good. However.......one thing you can do is wash them wrong side out. Keeps stuff looking new for longer.
