Well done!
You mean you still havent shipped his creedmore ammo? Thanks man! Was really liking the though of brewing up a bad one and handing it to the good-looking lady at the UPS counter who keeps telling me I can’t ship bullets to @Ryan Avery
Had my first this past summer and had 2 small ones as well. When I felt the meds in the IV I thought I should ask when I am supposed to count backwards like on TV so I lifted my head a little to ask and the guy says "You're all done, when you feel like it you can get dressed" I was like WTH!!Hey Brian, yep, just got home. Firstly, congrats on a solid exam, glad you also did this!
Hopefully not TMI here.......for us, wife was perfecto in there, I had two small polyps removed. Doc said they looked benign and very common variety (1 outta 4 @ 50y/o plus have them.)
First time ever being under--propofol for the win--a bit groggy coming around. FIfteen minutes of mild fog, and then all good. Very happy to have peace of mind and the procedure behind us.
Seven years recommended for my next scan, ten for wife.
Hope this thread helps with awareness. The importance can't be overstated.
There is a much higher occurrence in all first responders of all GI cancers. I'm unsure exactly why and I'm not sure there is concrete answers either.Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I was unaware there was a correlation between first responders and colon cancer risk.. what's the reason?
Congrats on great outcomes for you both Broomd! So glad you started this thread and thanks to the medical experts weighing in as well, I bet my next elk tag all this sharing of info will save a life if not multiple!Hey Brian, yep, just got home. When you say "thing" are you referring to men being resistant to getting the procedure overall?Someone educate me. Why is it more of a "thing" for men to have to do this and not women?
Asking honestly. What's the reason?
The only requirement for a colonoscopy is to have a colon...Someone educate me. Why is it more of a "thing" for men to have to do this and not women?

Got it two weeks ago.Tomorrow....for both wife and me. Our first. Colon issues run in my family so I'm overdue.
Just chugged round one of the purge juice, good lord--gack! Waiting for the purge now....
Anyone else gotten the probe lately?
Women get them as well, they probably aren’t as vocal about it.Rarely hear women talk about doing it. Usually it's always men that get the publicity for it.
Was wondering if it had more to do with diet, or...
Colon cancer is the most preventable form of cancer. Put up with the prep and get it done. It sucks but it's only one afternoon and evening then it's over. I've had 7 or so, next one is in 2 years. Not looking forward to it but I will sure as heck do it. I've got a 2 yr old grandson to take on hunts and I want to be around to do it.
Thanks for reminding me - I too am due. Some doctors are using alternative technology. Will have to see what my Dr says.Tomorrow....for both wife and me. Our first. Colon issues run in my family so I'm overdue.
