cold weather boots

Thanks my longest walk is usally 100-200 yards or so i dont think my feet will sweat.
You might be really surprised. A wool sock and an insulated boot makes for sweaty feets.

Being a cold blooded northern guy, 30 degrees ain't that cold but I'd consider packing in dry socks and changing as soon as I get to the stand.

Boot blankets as others have mentioned are awesome and a small foam butt pad as a standing pad to insulate the bottoms of your feet is great.

Another thing is how tight that boot is. I know you mention slip ons but if you're really snug in that boot, you're gonna have problems
 
Buddy of mine in Alaska uses a foot antiperspirant called Carpe during hunting season. He figures that if he can stop his feet from sweating in the first place that he won’t have cold feet. Can’t say I’ve tried it but it sounds like it could have some merit.
