OK, I see what I did. I was just congratulating him on his shot. Fixed!Did @jonesn3 post a video or is he poaching credit for my range?![]()
@BigWoods thanks for hanging with us for 8 years of CBC. Good shooting man. Post #40
Well thanks Robby! All I'll say is don't hold your breath to much for my next couple shots. I feel I should be able to do it which is what made that decision. But id be lying if I said I'm 100% at that distance. This is perfect situation on my home turf, where the animal can't move. In a real situation there's many more variables.
Can say that twice.I don’t see Billy Goat on the thread. Is he back behind his target looking for his arrow?
Well watch for you.Can say that twice.
I have been busy, took stuff to stock sale this morning first thing, then working. Now probably shooting tomorrow so will need to wait til Monday.
I shoot a 5 pin fixed sight. I kind of want to get a moveable sight but my problem is that I actually tend to shoot better with gap shooting. I was struggling at 60 yards the other night, stepped up to 55 and center punched with my broadhead. Then I stepped back past 60 and was shooting slightly better than at 60. The farther back I get the more my pins cover the center and I really struggle with not being able to see the center even with my pin floating on and off center. So yes it is amazing what only a few yards can do.@Mish-pop same here. I was hoping to move my MER to 65 this year but practicing at the last week I was missing half my shots. Amazing what 5 yards difference makes when you’re not all that good lol. But you nailed it! Post #39
It takes a lot of guts to show off on the Internet.I shoot a 5 pin fixed sight. I kind of want to get a moveable sight but my problem is that I actually tend to shoot better with gap shooting. Also I saw your post that you were feeling nervous. When I grabbed my bow and stepped up to shoot I was surprised that I was nervous! Especially considering I have been practicing several nights a week and its just a target![]()
65.1 it is!Well got home with a little daylight, so shot real quick.
If I end up not going to shoot tomorrow, means I just need to shoot one arrow and can be wrapped up Monday. If I go shoot, I'll edit my post and restart on Monday.
