Rokslide_new.pngThe 2026 Cold Bow Challenge will start Saturday, May 9th AT 8:15 AM MTN TIME on the Challenge Thread (in progress).

(You’re currently on the QnA thread)

Hit the "Watch" button upper right on both threads to receive the notification when someone posts...
and get your bow ready

For 2026, it's again 3-arrow, broadhead-only challange (expandables counted as broadheads)

I'll be updating prizes on the Challenge Thread over the next few weeks, hint: Grand Prize rhymes with “Ice”

Also, we’re gonna use this opportunity to help Colorado in their fight against the Fur Ban (here).

I’m still working on the details but suffice it to say, if you can make the meeting in Grand Junction in early May, you can get an extra entry in this challenge and, if you’ll shoot your one of your arrows at the
@CO Backcountry Precision Archery Course in Gypsum (it will be free to shoot for Roksliders), you get another entry! The one-arrow/day limit will be waived for that course day.

Details to follow….

Well nuts… I’ve completely shot out all my broadhead targets. And haven’t had the short term funds to replace them yet. Given my success in winning these prizes over the years it’s probably for the best though 🤣.

Mommy, Forum Jerk, and a Band guy all posting in here... Off the rails

I want to see some folks shoot a bare shaft for a feel good fourth arrow at their broad head distance. 🤯

Edited---> who flipped my dead dog's photo over?!?!
🥵

^ Just been sitting here waiting for this one to roll in 😂

I don’t know anything about virtual, but probably.

(I got permission from @fngTony for this reply)

@Alone Guy please blow this place up while you have an account

Scotty at the muffler shop said there's a good chance he knows a guy who will go for me as tribute. Says he will do about anything for $20.

He might have thought I was talking about something discussing different cats tho.

Said he'd say something next time he was bringing some converters by.
