Right on!
I was hesitant to mention it and expose my degree of coffee snobbery.
Mine is still going strong after 8+ years. 1 cup to 10 cups, all perfect.
Prefer mine over anything else I've used, including my french press and Bialetti. I'll grind a little bit at a time with a small push button grinder. If I want it programmable, I'll add a programmable plug, but even on a hunting day it only takes 5 minutes to brew a big cup while I'm getting ready to head out the door.

But I'll be honest, my better half wanted it to fit in with the "Kitchen Decor" and it looks a hell of a lot nicer than some of the cheaper ones on the market...

I'm on the home espresso machine bandwagon. Been doing it so long I can't remember what machine it is. But it's single serve, quick to make an americano, and the best tasting coffee you can get IMO.

Cuisinart:
- Makes single serving in a couple of minutes without changing anything except the amount of water and coffee grounds
- Programmable
- Gets coffee hot! I have tried 5-6 different brands over the last 5 years, and these get hottest IME. HOT is what keeps me buying Cuisinart.

NOTE
- Almost all drip coffee makers make a single cup quickly. Just use appropriate water and grounds. No need for a separate coffee maker for a single cup.
- Do you really need programmable? For single cup it takes literally 2-3 minutes to brew. Get up. Press brew. Morning stuff. Coffee ready before morning stuff is done.

I gave up the fancy programable to go back to perculator. Just taste batter.

Hamilton beech makes an electric one.

Jura Capresso! Fully programmable to your tastes/needs. Kinda expensive but lasts a long time. I have had two between the shop and my house and between them both they have made over 17k cups of coffee and have only been back to the shop for repair twice.
Once you start drinking coffee from a Jura most other ways of brewing don't come close.

I am all about the chemex. It does take a bit longer in the morning to grind the beans and use the chemex, but I make coffee as I am making breakfast and it ends up being ready about the same time.

I recently scrapped the Keurig for a Mr. Coffee drip with a stainless, thermal carafe, no burner. I also cold brew coffee. I haven't used the Stanley french press yet.

Do you have to grind fresh every morning, or good pre-ground work?
If not, whats a good quick grinder.
I'm all about convenience.
Have had Bunns, Keurigs, cheap coffemakers, Kitchenaid. Apparently I've turned into a snob cuz I'm not really happy with any of them. Which is weird, cuz I drink about 2 "coffee shop" cups per year. Not sure where I would have acquired a taste for good stuff.

ten dollar mr. coffee from walmart etc. timer you can set, and you can have one serving or twelve and the coffee is cheaper if you dont have to buy it in those little man bun cups.

I bought one of these Hamilton Beach coffee makers for myself and another for my parents 7 years ago, and both are still going strong today. I use mine to brew a half pot every weekday morning and several single serves on the weekends.

I don't go complete OCD and grind every day. I'll do a couple days at a time using a cheap push button grinder, and store it in a sealed container. Mine has been going strong for close to 15 years:

I do buy good beans, and am at the point I drink it black:

I usually grind when I brew but sometimes the night before. If I'm going hunting I'll pre-grind enough for the trip. I use a burr grinder to get a consistent grind for my brewing method. I've had this Capresso for years without a problem. Easy to clean and adjust.

I have had one for a number of years. For a drip maker there is none better. Combined with good beans, and a burr grinder......you are set!

I absolutely love good coffee. I’ve found the smoothest, nicest coffee I have ever had is that from my Aeropress. Simple. Grind fresh every morning. Battery operated frother sits next to the aeropress stand, ready to make bulletproof coffee early and a cappuccino mid morning.
