CO fur ban

I used to be able to say that I am grateful for the work of the individuals that manage our wildlife and wild places, specifically colorado. I can no longer make that claim. This....Reason#137

I have been reading some things indicating the 'fur trade ban' could extend into anything commercial dealing with animal hides. Curious to hear others' take on the impact this would have on taxidermists in Colorado.

Populations peak and then crash. Some natural cycles are 20 years. Management, as developed iin the 30s was to trim the peaks off of populations to avoid the crashes.

I guess we have to experience the natural disasters to start over with sanity.

In a departure from the European model, the long established American tradition is that the burden is not on the citizen to prove they should be able to possess and/or practice said right. The burden of proof is on the state to prove that the citizen should not be able to possess and/or practice said right.
