Cleaning Breech Plug/Barrel Flange?

What is your technique for cleaning where the breech plug seats against the barrel?

Shotgun bore brush and a can of Gun Scrubber is one of the best ive tried. Chuck up the brush in a drill. You may need a section of cleaning rod for some rifles.

Harbor Freight auto section. Nylon, brass and stainless brushes. The extension may come in handy but, I don't need it for my bolt action.

What is your technique for cleaning where the breech plug seats against the barrel?

As GM54 has already suggested...

A 16 gauge fiber brush installed on the end of cleaning rod extension and Birchwood Casey 2-in-1 bore scrubber. Turn the bore brush CCW.

This really works well for me.
