Anyone clean and do maintenance on your release?

You should. They get dirty.

I like to give the mechanism a shot of carb cleaner, blow out with air compressor, then lubricate with graphite lubricant.

Do not use WD40 as it attracts dirt and gunk.

I've used Break clean and Teflon dry lube.

You are correct don't use any oil, wet lube. Can attract dirt or freeze up. I've heard lighter fluid works, but it smells a lot.

I’m new to archery, but have shot competitive rifle since before there was a PRS, plus NRA HP and Rifle Slhouette-a precision sear is a precision sear....
Teflon and graphite I’ve used, but do not anymore. They can make sear engagements inconsistent
I’d really dirty, I use brake cleaner then flush with lighter fluid (liquid Zippo style). It dries without leaving anything to gum up yet The naphtha leaves lubricity and corrosion resistance.
Mildly dirty-I just rinse with lighter fluid.

They guys over at Jewell recommended me this years ago and I’ve never had any issues.
