Classifieds-partial trade plus cash transaction logistics

I’ve got a gentleman that wants to trade plus cash a 2k item (his) for my 3k item.

I never ask anyone to use anything but PayPal goods and services nor do I use g&s for any of my purchases.

I’m sure this isn’t the first time a similar transaction has been conducted.

What’s the best way to go about this logistically?

Who’s up for that? Middleman Receive both optics and inspect them, make sure all cash transactions are done and ship them to each party.

Little extra shipping cost but probably worth the peace of mind on both sides.

I did one for a rifle on here back in july. I traded a spotting scope plus some cash for a rifle. After a few txt messages and a phone message we both pulled the trigger. We shipped at the same time as well as i sent the paypal.
