71% of the U.S. is unhappy with inflation, government overreach, border issues, etc but SOMEHOW they all voted for the same crap!

Because that is what this system is designed to do. It doesn't matter if you are unhappy, you can't possibly vote for that other party, they are the devil and will ruin the country. The divisive 2 party system at work.

The country has been on a long path to destruction for some time now. But I saw a poll yesterday that made it crystal clear just how far we've gone over the cliff of what used to be a great nation. The poll said that 65% said that "The government should be responsible for our healthcare". Wow. SMH It's no wonder that so many vote for socialism.

the red wave was a ripple on a blue sea....in a week or so we will be told the libs control both houses. This was an unprecedented result to a mid term especially with what has been going on. USA=Done.
If you have hope for 2024 your not being realistic.....no offense to anyone. It is a shame to see the USA go down in this manner. We may have a hot war before too long after the new congress is sworn in..

AOC & Squad picked up more members=the future.

In Michigan we lost every single election. State house and senate for the 1st time in decades. Governors, Secretary of State, AG, all lost..every proposal lost..Lost by huge numbers too. I am not a tin foil hat type of guy but I will NEVER believe that we are really voting in this state.

Trump killed us. Guy needs to quietly disappear. Unfortunately, I think he's going to plague us for at least another four years. And I'm betting he will lose to Biden too.

This. One of the biggest democrat advantages, just ask yourself why hard left political organisations spent millions on advertisment supporting Trump endorsed candidates.

The dems have failed to take middle ground positions though, so they are set for a massive reckoning if....

Sadly, it's a squandered opportunity, and here's why. People care most about security, stability, and prosperity. That used to be the Republican party. In any other decade, it would have been a Red wave. Just look at what happened in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s.

My 2 cents? Now the Republican party is characterized by celeb types who want to flame up a culture war about abortion, election denial, and pretend demons. Fringe garbage like that has become the only message. It's not the voters' fault. Or the Dem's fault. There is no conspiracy at work. There are just lousy, unstable, really dumb Republican candidates whose lack of quality is demeaning to the American public. I mean Hershel Walker? Dr Oz? Marjorie Taylor Greene? All are arguably crazier than the Squad. Like the squad, they are false patriots who think voters are idiots.

You think Republicans hate salmon and wildlife? Try living in WA where the Dems are literally trying to eliminate all hunting. Not an exaggeration. You have no idea. Republican people are the ones who hunt and fish, far and away more than Dems.
I'm not voting in WA. Just talking about my candidates. My candidate options were the woke crowd that had public statements suggesting that the trawling industry is likely destroying our oceans and that they are investigated and stopped; and they also have public statements on stopping things like Pebble Mine and other roads to nowhere. Or there is the group of republicans that see no need for commercial restrictions in this state including on the trawl industry that's clearly destroying our fish stocks, a road to every mine in the state, and the status quo of prioritizing commercial hunting interest that over extend our resource and has brough you out of state folks the Alaska must be guided rule.

So, as far as my state is concerned, I rolled the dice with the pro animal exploitation group unfortunately.

Been saying this since the primaries in 2015. You can't let someone that unhinged represent your party or the damage will be long lasting. And it ain't over yet. Republicans lost a lot of voters when they went that direction. Actual republicans. Not the RINO's that support djt.
