I know a lot of people would rather not run the screen doors in their Cimarron because of the added weight but I am thinking about adding this option when I order mine because I'll eventually have both my boys going with me on trips and would rather pack a few more ounces than have them complaining about bugs. My question, how functional are the screens when the shelter is pitched tight to the ground from keeping the bugs out? I know wont alleviate them all but though it might block a lot of them.

Completely second this, you need airflow and to keep the edges off the ground or you'll get condensation. That said most bugs hangout at the very top and are the flying type.

Yeah I'll open both door and slap the top, seems to get 99% of them out.

Does anyone have pics of a Cimarron with the net doors? I am still considering having the net doors or at least one installed primarily for ventilation purposes when the shelter is pitched to the ground. I think if I opened the upper portion of the doors while the lower remained closed that it would provide enough ventilation overnight to prevent significant condensation.

Not enough venting if it's hummid. You'll want some bottom venting especially since thats where you be unless you like the feeling of wearing a sauna suit.

It's gotta be below freezing before I nail the walls to the floor. Linloc3's on every stake loop with lawson 2mm cord makes adjustments easy
