Have you ever hunted Chukar?
Im guessing he has not. Don't know of any mountain ranges in Kansas that hold chukar lol. Go to the top of the breaks in the snake river or salmon river area and hike down all the way to the bottom having to sidehill because its so steep then head back up with loose basalt rocks a few times and then come back and comment how easy it is.
You can shoot a mule or elk cross canyon at 500 plus yards. And you have all of the pre season prep work with your dog and worrying if your dog will go off a cliff chasing or retrieving a bird or zapped by a snake in the early season. Its definitely a challenge and that's why I enjoy it.
Ive never even though about comparing bird hunting with big game.
