Chugach Archery Sheep

Good Morning All,

I was fortunate enough to draw an archery Chugach sheep tag and have been researching potential areas to hunt. I am an Alaskan resident and have put boots on ground in a few locations in the Chugach, but am interested in hearing what others experiences have been. If anyone is willing to share their experiences from past hunts/answer a few questions I would greatly appreciate communicating via PM.

What tag number did you draw? I drew DS138. Upper Eagle River, Upper Ship Creek. My tag is late rifle. 4-17 Sep. I plan to be in there 2 Sep-20 Sep.

I know a bit about the area but would need to know your tag number and season dates before I could give you advice.

Congrats on your tag! I've heard great things about that area. Definitely some beautiful country.

As for the tag - I drew DS140 and it runs from October 1 to October 10.
