Christensen Arms Ridgeline

not sure how you say its really high..... not higher than the talley ca made for them.
the scope rings are nf low's not sure how i could get any lower...... looks wise the scopes objective could be lower to barrel but performance wise its right.

Interesting, do you shoot in the prone much? I have their same basic stock on a 300 RUM and had to install an adjustable cheek piece to get proper alignment with same the scope. It's funny how some people need it and some don't. The machining on that rail looks incredible. Post up some groups when you get a chance.

will say i do have triad tactical stock pad/packs but op not to use them. have tried on other rifles i have with same scope height same stock style and feel it adds too much height to stock for me and do not want my scope higher to work in conjunction with low rings. i always read how people swear to have proper and consistant alignment you need an adjustable stock. i never have needed to as of yet. i have tried to convince myself i need to but it just does not seem to be the case for me. i did put a stock pack on by triad and lay prone in my house with this rifle/stock , looked out to 500 yards and it felt better without as usual. i wasnt really paying attention when you asked original question about sight allignment, my head was into something else at the moment but either way there is my answer about it.

Do they make this rifle in LEFT HANDED? I have looked all over their website and can not find anything on LH.

HAHA, I should of been more clear. The scope has to be really high. Are you using anything to raise the comb height for a consistent cheek weld?

i have been lucky with 1.4 to 1.5 inch heights but this one was 1.85 for some reason with low rings. against my nature i added my triad tactical pad plus a bit of custom foam duct tape under to achieve proper height. i dig sinking my cheek into it so guess im a liar on never using anything......... seems to be right so ill go with it. now just am waiting to find that sweet something this gun likes.......

As a lefty I guess I will Keep shooting ruger american stainless and tikka s. Hard to beat for price and performance

my trigger pull is at 3.5pounds.... any info on adjusting it? imagine i can find info or read about it or call ca to know but think having it break sooner will aid my group testing as well as the usual.......

called ca today evidently they say the trigger only goes down to 3 pounds so i ordered a trigger tech today to try, they looked interesting, now a month wait begins.

I just recently became an owner of a 300 win mag Ridgeline and I am impressed with it so far. Mounted a Bushnell 3-12x44 LRHS scope with Force Recon Integrated level rings on the Talley base and came in at 8.5lbs.

Worked up a load using H1000 and Hornady 200gr eld-X at 0.3gr charge increments and had the best group of .6 moa at 76.8 grains. Next morning I loaded up 3 more at 76.8 gr and shot a .26 moa at 100 yards. Going to try this combo further out next outing and see how it does.

Interesting.. I called them as well and was told 2.5. It is advertised as "a crisp 2.5"

I adjusted three of them (one is Connors), and they all went to about 2lbs or a little less. They were all set at 3 lbs from the factory. The only thing I did was adjust the bottom screw on the front of the trigger. Seemed to work fine.

How close are you seating those in relation to the lands?

learned a lesson on this one. should have taken my stock off to look at it first and would have seen it was a timney trigger and to just look it up online how to adjust. as well as my action to stock bolts were nearly loose to the point of my hands without tools could have taken my stock off not 60 inch pounds by any means.....more like 10...... so i should have checked those as well befor even firing. i imagine that was a player in flyers at the range. gotta slow down to speed up i spose... thanks for the reply on this. ca did tell me as i stated. need to learn who to talk to there. info at times is incorrect from them when i have spoke with different people answering my questions.

upon looking at my trigger it had red lock tite in hex nuts to adjust., so me being me i didnt want to put my wrench in a compromised and or shallow area to adjust the screw. called ca to inquire about. was told your guns warranty is voided if you adjust your trigger. either way to each there own. as well as was told again 3.5 pounds was what is set at factory in them so my pull scale appears to read correct or at least with what i was told they are set at. ill put the trigger tech in once it arrives and looks like we will see trigger tech triggers come on some ca rifles in the near future as well via conversation.

If adjusting the trigger voids the warranty, I would also think that removing, and replacing it would do the same?

i failed to ask that.... i did mention i was replacing it with a trigger tech witch is how i learned of those to be seen soon on some ca rifles. if i even wanted to adjust mine in my ridgeline i would have to get ghetto and try and remove the red loctite they filled the area with that accepts the hex wrench to even turn the screw, its nearly flush with it. would not be worth my time or energy imop. in mine at 3.5 lbs i feel a little creep and can feel the internal components move across each other too much befor it breaks. its ok but think its hurting my control. still cant believe i never checked the bolts that attache the stock to action befor i shot it. not my usual self on that one. so starting over again on this one.
