Christensen arms MPR

Interested in 16” .308 carbon. Wanting anyone’s personal experience with these rifles. I’ve been told the customer service is grade A and sub MOA guarantee. Just wanting someone’s take away that has hands on experience with these rifles. Thanks

I've got the MPR in .300 wm. It is a straight up shooter and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have close to 250 rounds through the gun. When I'm doing my job, I can consistently hit sub MOA with the rifle, and can hit 10" steel at 1,200 yards. I also have a ridgeline in .270wsm that's a great shooter.

While they had issues in the past, my customer service experience with them has been exceptional. As with all mfr's right now, they are unable to keep up with demand for their product.

I have a 6.5 CM MPR and I like it. Haven't had to try their CS yet. Followed CA's break-in instructions and now have about 200 rds through it. I'm sub MOA out to 500 and haven't shot it further than that. Most groups are .5-.75 with factory ELD-X. The action was a little gritty where I thought I would send it in or have it lapped out but haven't yet. I don't want to mess with it shooting the way it does. For what it is, it's not too heavy either. Just under 7 lbs naked. I liked carrying it with the folding stock last hunting season. I have a suppressor on it so carrying it a little lower was nice when hiking in the trees. I did change out the grip to something with a little more swell to fit my meat hooks.

Ya I’ve heard of some gritty actions for some reason. And the grip has to go, from what I’ve seen and read they’re not much to hold on to

I almost bought the 16” in .308 a few weeks ago, but bought a Proof Elevation MTR .308 with a 20” barrel instead. I was really impressed with the CA MPR though. For a chassis rifle, it’s the lightest I’ve ever felt. The handguard was a work of art. I know where you can get a new, Black CA MPR in .308 w.16” barrel right now. I have a ridgeline in 300WSM, Did have to use their Customer service and it was very good. No complaints at all.

I have been looking at their MPR and the sig cross (both in 6.5CM) and trying to make a decision...

I love my 6.5CM, its a tact driver. Those guys at Christensen build a pretty solid rifle

I had a 308 MPR. Wouldn't shoot MOA for anything. Tried several types of ammo. It ended up going back to CA, they replaced the scope rail and the folding stock mount. It came back with a target that was right at MOA. Paying 2k for a rifle and it barely making MOA wasn't worth it to me. My bergaras shot circles around it. I will say the MPR is a great looking rifle.
