I have been looking for ammo for my new Christensen .300wsm. New to these guns and long range but have been doing extensive research.. I can’t find the right Grain weight for the 1/10 twist rate they all recommend 1/12 twist.. like HSM & Copper creek custom ammo. Does the twist rate they recommend really make a huge impact? Looking for 180-210 Ammo. Any advice on this setup and what to use? Thanks for your time

I shoot 180 grain Barnes TTSX handloads in my CA 300WSM. Makes 1 ragged hole at 100 yards and holds half MOA to 300 yards (farthest my range goes). I intend to work up a load for 200 grain pills this Spring. You should be fine with 180 and 200 grain bullets.

If you're interested in reloading, I have the same rifle and did some extensive testing.

Would you mind sharing the load data?

Norma brass, Fed 215M primers, Barnes 180 gr TTSX, 68 grains H4831SC, CBTO 2.21 (COAL 2.835).

The above load is fairly hot. As always, work up slowly in your rifle. I have since moved away from Monos but the above load served me well on a bull elk a few years back.
