Chile or chili?

I Make my beans with a recipe I got from BBQ Pit Boy. I did make some minor changes too recipe but, basically the same. Always have request for them on get togethers. Pit Boys have lot of good recipes. Give them a look.
 
I put green chile on almost everything! Lol I even mix it into my spaghetti sauce for a great flavor and some extra bite. I don’t mind red but I prefer green all day everyday. I make an incredible gc/cheddar brat and summer sausage at my meat plant.
 
I had a discussion about this with a guy from Albuquerque one time. He'd mention green chile a lot. Well, I grew up on green chile.......but our green chile is the "pork and green chile sauce" that we smother all of our Mexican food in. His green chile was just a bunch of cut up green chile peppers. So there's green chile and red chile which has the cut up peppers in it, and then there's the actual green and red chile peppers.

Was just in Albuquerque 2 weeks ago. Learned something new - when ordering both green and red chiles you just say Christmas...
