Some of those big ranches around there have giant problem with elk. Find a way to get in good with them and you’d have it made in the shade

Cheyenne is Great, super close to Fort Collins that’s where we go on date nights and what not. When it comes to Elk hunting I’ve killed 3 280-290 bulls in the last 3 years on the general all within 2.5 hours of town. There’s definitely bigger bulls around but I’d say on average for a decent otc archery elk hunter u can expect 260-310 bulls high end being 330-340 on the general within 2.5 hours of Cheyenne.

What is "in the area"? If it's closer than 2-3hrs away, you'd better have access to private property.

Cheyenne is awful. Rawlins would be better.
