Checking Scope after Traveling out West

I've seen it first hand when a hunting partner missed several times before finally checking his rifle. He was shooting about 5in low when at home before the trip it was dead on. No idea why it was that way other than atmospheric conditions. I check mine after traveling long distance from now on no matter what.

Might be a good idea to check since you are coming from such a low elevation.
Laramie has a nice rifle range that has public shooting hours in fall.
You are good to go shoot on public land like stated.
