Looking for a bag or quilt for when it's in the 60's-70's or so.. Something under $60.. Preferably sub 3lbs..

My only other requirement is I like to be able to unzip the foot box..

Any ideas? The lighter the better obviously but I don't want to spend $300 or anything.. I have really good cold weather quilts/bags but need something cheap for one trip in particular.. I sleep very cold so something rated from 50-65 should be fine..

HG Burrow 50; $199 for 850 water resistant down quilt.
GoLite Adventure 40; $189 for 650 down semi rectangular bag w/full zip.

I have a Burrow 20 and love it. I also have the predecessor to the Adventure bag. I would choose the quilt given the choice between those two.

I found a snugpack 60 degree bag a few years ago that sounds like it would fit the bill but I am unsure of th emodel.

Looks like you have now added a price limit of $60. Disregard my suggestions.

Sorry! Wanted to make my post a little clearer..

Id look into the military surplus patrol bag. Thats the warmer weather bag in the system. And its cheap.

Or if you want the warmer bag in the system...

Or heck maybe you want the whole system since it is so darn cheap.

I have one and I'm just worried I might get a little bit toasty.. Mainly, I feel claustrophobic with an enclosed footbox..

I think this might be perfect! Never heard of Snugpak till you mentioned it.. Did some research and came across their Jungle Bag.. 45 degrees, about 2lbs, $70, can unzip all the way.. Did some research, got great reviews.. Just ordered one! Thanks!

Maybe a fleece blanket is all you need and you should make your weight, price and foot box requirements.

I have a lafuma extreme 650 pro that's a 40 degree bag I'll give you for $25. It weighs alittle over a pound I think and compresses down do nothing. I have used it like twoce
