Cheap Stuff that Works

What’s the coolest one? Sun and heat about killed me today.

I’ve got a Roadbox and Willit I’m going to try this week.

Anything better than these?

I’m suspicious that they are all the same…..

Stumbled on this and grabbed one, and I think its my favorite bino tripod adapter I've used yet...base is ARCA compatible, it locks and tightens down. And the price is right. Build quality is surprisingly good.

I like the Leofoto one, wider base, 1/4 20 hole for those odd adapter plates. BUT....its about double the Fanue price. You can routinely find them on Ebay for about $40-45 (Always drop 20% off price for the OBO listings)

Not sure if this has been posted, but tenacious tape works very well for field repairs. I fell on a scree pile in Idaho and ripped the back of my pants. Put some tenacious on, and its still on there working well. Also imagine it would be great for tents, sleeping bags, etc
Tenacious Tape
Luko Tape
Black Gorilla Duct Tape (1")

All 3 are afield necessities.

Roadbox did well today.

Heat index was 101 and I didn’t die. I’ll endorse it.

Do these smell funky after a day of use?
No.

But BASSDASH is another option, only because they use Micromesh panels in some models (More Breathable)

Ive used Baleaf, Bassdash, and a couple other amazon brands here in Iraq/Jordan. Aside from the Bassdash mesh panels, they all feel / work the same.

I can't speak to anything Costco, because the closest one to my home is 2 hrs away.
