So I decided to change out bows now that it's getting colder here in Kansas. My normal bow is a Hoyt GMII at 65lbs. It's a sheer test of manhood to draw in temps below 35*. I recently picked up a GM and it's only 55lbs. The draw is still smooth and with my new GT 35/55 trad arrows, everything is coming together. However, I usually shoot off a flipper rest, bib the GM isn't really designed to do this without some real tinkering and tuning, so I put four 4" feathers on the GT 35/55's and called it a day. Hopefully I'll get to take her out tomorrow evening.

So far I have had no luck with this bow. I am having issues with tuning this rig. I am shooting too far to the right for some reason. I have made adjustments to my rug, nockpoint, anchor point and grip with no joy. So, as a last ditch effort to make these lower poundage limbs work, I put them on my GM II riser and strung it up. Took it outside and shot a few rounds. Arrows flight was straight and true. I am a happy camper now.
