The deal made it onto slickdeals website. I'm sure the traffic to this deal (probably a pricing error) was the reason it was finally caught.

Mine doesnt come in till the 17th. Was talking to a buddy who dog trials in AZ. He said there was a bunch of guys who bought a larger version of the champion on sale a while back. Said all of them sold them because of some issue at altitude. Dont know the specifics yet. Hope it was exclusive to that model.

I was worried about this. The manual says to remove the air filter cover at higher altitude. It also says the carb is non-adjustable on the 2000w model (no high altitude jets like larger models).

I will find out in 5 weeks. I'll run it at 10k. The yamaha we had been using never had a problem.
