Once. Freekin’ impressive! Bud killed a bull, hit his dad up back in camp via txt, dad brought the atv and winch and I met them on top of the ridge. We used a Capstan winch to bring the entire animal to a bench where we could process him on a flat, with tarps and three guys and load him directly onto the ATV racks. Beyond impressive under the circumstances (i.e. N. Idaho sh!t brush and steep!)! Literally ran line down to the bull, harnessed him and hauled him up slope. Repeat. Aside from running a saw up the hill, I didn’t have to haul a thing.
If you’re hunting someplace they’re conducive, you won’t regret it!
