I drew 28, 1% draw odds, now that I'm a nonres I honestly didn't think I would ever draw, almost didn't even apply. Good thing I did!

So it turns out that I’m an idiot. Somehow I put in for cow moose, 1st, 2nd & 3rd choice. I’ve heard of this happening but it’s the first time it’s happened to me. I Returned the tag to CO as soon as I caught the error. It was exciting for a minute, but honestly a bit of a relief as I have a new job and a great WY elk tag this year, so it was going to be very difficult to hunt both well.

Yes sir. Got back money and points. The Only penalty is that I sacrifice the point I would have acquired this year had I been unsuccessful in the draw; but that’s fair.
