Thanks all. While the higher end recommendations are tempting, I can only splurge on so many items and am leaning towards something cheaper. The Cabela’s Mountain Trapper bag looks good. The Coleman Heritage has also caught my eye, although I worry about Coleman quality. The Kodiak bags look awesome, but with several options that look good in the lower price range, I don’t think I’ll spend that much.

This is the way. Its gotta be the best bag on the market. Kind of spendy, but well worth it. I have used it elk hunting the last two seasons. I also bought the quilt that goes with it. When its warmer I lay on top of the bag and under the quilt. When its freezing cold I am in the bag with the quilt on top. Seriously one of the most flexible sleeping systems.
I see the Z Top comes in either 0 degree or 20 degree both available with a quilt. What would you recommend for cabin tent in mid to late October at elevation? Got an elk hunt coming this year and thinking of getting one.
