Canadian Forest Lockdowns?

I know it's crazy to hear but in Canada few fires are actually wild. Most are manmade by ecotards pushing an angeda. These measures are insane.

And idiots that need a fire because they are camping and its just not camping without a fire. Have seen sxs's and bikes catch fire same for pickups and equipment. Been a few from hikers burning toilet paper even.

I dont blame them at all for shutting things down for a bit.

Honestly a lot of "new" errr Canadians set fires unintentionally because back homes there's nothing to burn in the sand but in our parks everything lights up when they leave their fires smouldering.

Friends north of the boarder, just saw something stating that in Nova Scotia it’s not illegal to enter a forest and unnecessary activities like hunting camping hiking fishing are all now off limits and carry a $25,000 fine for violating. What’s up with that??
The video said the justification was due to wildfires that burned 200 homes. But it’s gotta be more than that.

Anyhow, if that’s really true and that you can’t even hike in the forest, how crap that sucks.
Happened to us one year in Montana. The fire was 20+ miles away and they closed the area we were going to hunt.

Yep, seems about 90% of you all are fine with being managed by the government. That tracks with history.

Unless you have a full fire kit in your truck, spend four weeks every spring preparing your property to make it as defended as possible against wildfire (including pumps/sprinklers and guards), and have actually BEEN in a real wildfire your opinion is a fart in a pair of coveralls.
