Can you use a fast fill adapter with a sawyer mini?

Title pretty much says it lol. I bought and installed the adapter but can't get the end of my sawyer mini off to attatch the male piece. Does it not come off and you just hold it in place or am I just being a baby about forcing it?

It doesn't really fit too.well, not exact, I've seen many others comment you can just force it together and hold it to fill. Problem is with the mini you need you hand to squeeze water out.....

Push the tubing onto the nozzle of the mini and stat one end of the quick detached to the tubing. If you send me your phone number I'll text you a picture.
