Can ANYONE tell me what ‘70s Bear Recurve this is?

This was given to me a few years ago. It looks very similar to a Bear minuteman & 76er but from the catalogs I’ve seen both of those models have a slot down the middle of the riser. Any help in identifying would be greatly appreciated.

After further investigation I believe you are right. Found a ‘72 bearcat on eBay that looks identical. I had looked through all the Bear catalogs for the 70s & the only bearcat I saw was wood & not a takedown. Thanks for your help!

You bet! Once upon a time I had all three. A minute man, 76’er, and a bearcat. Man that was a long time ago! All from yard sales in the early/ mid 80’s, if I had 25 bucks total for all 3 I’d be suprised!

Yeah, Bruce, they kinda were. My best friend still has my 76er in his garage somewhere. I should try and reclaim it. Red riser, white limbs. Nothing some spray paint couldn’t fix…..
