Camping alarm system?

I have a Packalarm Pro, it has a little tripwire and a super loud alarm that goes off. I use it in grizzly country in Northern BC. Personally I would be fine putting in earplugs to sleep without the alarm, but my fiancé sleeps way better having the alarm set up. Before we had it she would wake me up often at any small sound, now she sleeps through the night and if she does wake up to rustling it doesn’t bother her. We’ve used it for 20+ nights and it’s never been triggered by an animal…if it does I’m sure I’ll have a heart attack - not because I’m scared of the animal, just because the alarm is SO loud.
Watched a video on the pack alarm. Seems like a pretty good system and I think the trip wire system makes a lot of sense so the smaller animals pass by without issue. The perimeter you can set is huge too. Might give it a trial run, thanks!

I have a hot wire fence for the areas with aggressive G bears but i sometimes just string some fishing line around cam with a couple of small bells attached

So are you guys saying that a loud alarm wouldnt scare off a bear sniffing around the tent?
Well.......I wasn't thinking of it like that. I was thinking an alarm just to let you know something was around.

Now an alarm like an airhorn or a siren...that would definetly send a bear running, and cause the person camping to shit their pants. So that would be worth it for sure.
