Cameraland Question

CL is about as good as it gets. Pretty much all my optics come through them
Place an old fashioned phone call and they pick up.
For Long Islanders they are good folk! 😆
 
Cl is legit as they come. I dont know how much stuff i have got but they have always came through with out any issues and take the time to talk on the phone when ever i had questions
 
Cameraland is one of the original sponsors/advertisers here. Don't make it that long without great CS.

They'll come through.
 
Maybe its new but this seems pretty clear that your going to have to wait.

It probably would have taken less time to email them and cancel your order than it did to type out your post.
Thanks for the picture, but that "July delivery" was was just put on the ad (today?). Believe me, I've checked several times since I first called them last Monday. So, I sent CL an email today and was very pleased and surprised to get a phone call response from them just a few hours later. They still don't seem to be sure when they will get the chrony, but I appreciate they are communicating about the order status. From the responses to my post, and the phone call, I believe these guys are legit. Thanks again.
 
Side note unrelated to cameraland, my local Scheels has these range crafts on the shelf priced at $399.

I screenshot that right before I posted that, and I posted that on Tuesday. It was most definitely not just put in there today.

Seeing as you asked me if that was posted today, I will not believe you that you have checked as many times as you would like me to believe.

You called them Monday, they told you they didn’t know when they would get them but had two hundred units on order. You then emailed them today, they called you and explained the same thing to you but this time it was an acceptable response and you now trust them?

Sense this all makes none.
 
Excellent dealer. They had to intervene on my behalf with Leica to get a warranty repair done. Great CS.
 
Cameraland has my vote of confidence as well, however, I'm not sure that matters to the OP. They have done right in EVERY business transaction I have ever heard about and I have firsthand experience with them as well. Solid folks with an outstanding history for reliability and performance.
 
Have purchase a few items from camera and as well as my best hunting buddy never had a problem #1 in my book give them a call and hang in there.ith all the bull shit going on now of days everyone is experiencing some delays,
 
I ordered an Athlon Rangecraft chronograph over two weeks ago from Cameraland in New York. When I called them yesterday to ask about delivery, I was told that they are waiting for a shipment of 200 units from Atlon, but they couldn't tell me when the chrony would be shipped. Those 200 units were all sold and my order MIGHT be one of those. They also said it was noted on their website that the item was not in stock. I don't mind waiting, but it seems like some shady business practice might be going on here. Here's my complaint and question: There is no such notice on the Cameraland website that this product is not available for shipment. If my math is correct, 200 units at $350 each is $70,000. So, it looks like these guys are selling the product BEFORE ordering them from the manufacturer. Has anyone done business with these people? This s my first business with them, and probably my last!
OK, Cameraland has come through. My chronograph is "out for delivery " to me today. Thanks to all of you guys who replied about your past positive dealings with them. It sounded like some of you were personally offended by my thread, so apologies to you. Thanks again.
 
FWIW, I wasn't personally offended....but I am a small business owner that appreciates working with a good reliable outfit.

Cameraland has treated me very well for going on 3 decades and they always have the best prices when you call.

In an age where one butthurt customer [I'm not referring to you specifically] can go online and wreck your sterling reputation, many times by no fault of them- it sucks.

I can tell you there are people out there- again, not referring to you- that intentionally go out of their way to leverage a business threatening a bad review or blowing them up on the internet. All because they want free stuff or services. I have had that happen in my one business. The internet has actually made it harder for businesses in that respect with predatory customers out there.

Anyway, Cameraland is excellent and I would hate to see their reputation tarnished.
