Anyone get anything exciting? I finally got my antelope tag in Surprise Valley. pretty thrilled about that

unfortunately you will never be in the bracket of people getting tags based on points. 6 may as well be zero. in 17 years you will still be 17 points behind a a lot of people. DFW will change the point system by then. I know they want to and are exploring options but until then you are screwed.

Yup, 22 elk points here. Luckily im 36 so I'll draw at some point as I assume a lot of guys ahead of me are older and will age out / die.

I drew marble mountain bull with one point short of maximum 4 years ago. And I drew on the points not on random so the points needed for that hunt specifically should start to come down a bit.

I thought elk, sheep, and antelope capped out at 23? Im 27 so i still got time but im also guessing in 17 years the draw will be better optimized (hopefully)

Yeah- as mentioned point creep will keep you in a similar place in 17 years!

C tags in between me and my wife. My dads good friend drew Clark/Kingstons sheep tag. It will be his second desert tag. His first was in AZ . I’ll be going again. Kinda neat that between my dad and I him and him been all 3 tags. I’m the odd man out without a sheep but it’s still awesome being apart of there hunts and looking forward to going in December
