California Draw is up.

They added something like 40 more elk tags this year. If that's the new norm, and not a one time thing, should help alot

Whoever drew La Panza elk tags can hopefully return them. The area that holds elk out there is all on fire.

Those elk use much more land out there than the fire area covers. I just hope we haven't lost any elk to the fire.

I have only hunted elk out there once with a friend that drew a tag years ago, we hunted that whole area that’s on fire now. I’m sure your correct but that’s where we found them.

If they've survived, they will be displaced from most of the burned area. That could make it an easier hunt, or a much harder hunt, depending on where they go.

C tags in between me and my wife. My dads good friend drew Clark/Kingstons sheep tag. It will be his second desert tag. His first was in AZ . I’ll be going again. Kinda neat that between my dad and I him and him been all 3 tags. I’m the odd man out without a sheep but it’s still awesome being apart of there hunts and looking forward to going in December
That’s rad, I’ve helped a buddy guide out there. Cool place to hunt sheep.
