Calculating Drawing Odds Among Several Entries

How do you calculate the odds of drawing a tag among several entries? For example, if I put myself, my wife, and my daughter in separately for an antelope tag that has had 35% odds in the past:
What are the odds one of us would draw and what's the formula? Adding them up does not seem like it would be correct (105%).
Conversely what are the odds none of will draw?

My guess is you are only increasing the odds of one tag by a small amount. If your draw odds were that and there were 10 people putting in, you would greatly increase your odds. But if we are talking 1000 people put in for it, then you barely increased your odds. Someone with a math degree or an engineer will have to help with a formula.

Are you looking for odds, or percent chance you will draw a tag? Odds are expressed as a ratio, for example 35/100, which is different than 35% chance of drawing a tag.

Thanks - Actually found this calculation tool website. Looks like we'd have a 72% chance of drawing at least one tag.
