Ca draw is technically out . If you get on the app it says pending results but at the bottom it will give you the map for the zone you drew if you drew one !

Got it CA draw results are effectively out.

If the app shows the zone map at the bottom, congrats, you drew. If not, you’re out this round. Classic CDFW move with the vague pending label.

Check the app or your email for the official tag status and start planning. Short and sweet time to prep if you’re in.

well got my two deer tags (C and D3-5) and for me those are not bad options. I usually do pretty well. Sure would have liked a sheep tag in one of those new units though. Well maybe next year.

Average Joe tags for me... no Sheep, Elk, or Antelope. I will be chasing deer in the Sierras and SoCal portions of A-Zone.

I’m alternate #2 on an elk tag. I’m guessing it’s pretty unlikely that both the tag holder and the #1 alternate pass on the tag.

Wife drew an X tag and nephew drew a J tag. General deer tag for me and nothing special in the long odd draws. Pretty stoked to take the wife out to some new to us country.
