I have the Burris Veracity and the Zeiss V4. The Veracity's are on a 28 Nosler and 300 Win Mag. No issues nice glass, holds zero., dials perfect. Shot my elk at 550 yards spot on and my mule deer at a whopping 100 yards...lol. The Veracity's are first focal plane and the Zeiss are second focal plane.
My boys have the V4's on their 7 mm mags. Shot their elk at 600 and 660 yards last year. No issues with the scope.
Both brands have been hunted hard riding around in trucks and ATVs with no issues.
I lost the front scope cap for the Burris. Emailed them and asked where I could buy one. they sent me a new set. Had an issue with the Zeiss sent it in and had a new scope in a few weeks.
The Burris are first focal plane and the Zeiss second focal plane. I dial for yardage so I don't use the benefits of first focal plane. As I get older I now prefer second focal plane and just got a Zeiss V6 for my new 7 mm mag, sweet, but pricey!
If you can you should look thru both types and see what you like.
