If anyone here has used the Burris Signature Rangefinder Binoculars, I'd be interested to hear your opinion about them. I'm interested in picking up some rangefinder binos but don't feel the need for a ballistic calculator. These seem like they might be pretty decent from the very little I've read about them.

Test the eye relief before buying – the Burris has a shorter exit pupil than some competitors. Fine for glassing, but awkward with eyeglasses. Also, the battery compartment isn’t weather-sealed as well as the main body.

I have heard range finding binoculars degrade image quality vs regular glass. Anyone have experience with this?

bumping to see if anyone else has feedback
I bought a set of the Burris and Ranger and put them side by side. The Burris has slightly better glass but they are bulky and uncomfortable in my opinion. I returned both and sportsman’s had Leica geovid r on sale at the time for $1200. If you can get the Leicas for around that price it’s definitely the way to go. Glass on the Leicas is amazing. If you can get rangers for $600 that’s not a bad option, but glass isn’t anything special. For $999 I wouldn’t consider the Burris compared to the Leicas for a couple hundred bucks more.
