Anyone here have experience with Burris Droptine binoculars? Burris says they have dielectric coatings. The field of view is way better than on the Signature model. There are lots of good deals on them. I’m thinking about picking up a pair for backup/wife binos.

I bought a pair of 10x42 off of Amazon in 2023 and then returned them after a week or so.

My recollections were:
- they seemed to be built very well
- the optics were ok-to-good
- the focuser and hinge were stiff
- I wasn't enamored with the tan color

For around $150 new with a lifetime warranty I'd suggest they're certainly worth a try if you can return them.

Thanks for the info. I was actually just able to try them in a store this morning alongside some signature HD’s. They seemed pretty good. I took them outside and compared them. The signatures seemed a little easier to look through and we’re definitely more comfortable to hold. But the view was pretty good from the Droptines. The droptines are surprisingly heavy though.
