Hearing a few talking up here in Wyoming

I had one bugling outside of camp Wed night. I also did some testing in a few areas this week and got some responses in the middle of the day even. One was just a faint growl. I like those!

Neighbors kid was out practicing last night he’s 4-40 acre plots away so I ran in and grabbed my tube and messed with him awhile I’m sure it made his day , probably freaked the other neighbors out though

Did a 10mile hike out scouting today. Snuck up on two different pairs of bulls having a duel in the trees. That was fun. Too bad I didn't draw a bow hunt!

One bugle in steamboat area... high chance it was a hunter though. Last year here I had 4 bugling opening day...I liked that much better!

Update - he did hear a light bugle out of one. But nothing too serious

Was sitting out by the fire pit at the house last night in AZ mountains…..heard a young bull bugling right at dark. So it begins!

I have a friend in N. Colo and he has heard a handful (4-5). Leave the 11th for a draw unit!

Only a few bugles way deep in Wyoming. Def not hunters but not responding back to cow or chuckles or bugles…

Nothing yesterday but only a short hunt. Friends listened to a bull from camp through Friday night but he didn't make a peep during the day. Typical early season.

Only bugles I’ve heard are my own. Four flocks of turkeys and even those were tight lipped. Saw a 6x bull feeding this morning with some cattle, not a care in the world.

Didn’t hear any in a crowed OTC unit for the opener. It was hot and I heard possibly the worst human bugle ever. I think he was using a kazoo with a funnel.

Had a couple bulls bugling in my basin Saturday night and Sunday morning/evening. One other hunter in there blowing cruddy mid-day bugles. Couldn't hear anything Monday due to the high winds. Colorado OTC

yes, heard bugles both days this weekend - higher and lower elevations
