Bugle report

Drainage where we had 13 bulls talking been qt last two days. Saw and heard the wolves there yesterday. Time to move.

 

[Dos Perros]

Pretty dead in the BigHorns all of a sudden. One spot I could normally hear at least 4 having a party every morning and night is quiet now.

Did watch a bull with a dozen cows rut around, tip his head back and bugle, but no sound came out. This was 150 yards and dead still no wind (otherwise would have stalked). I know he can talk, I’ve heard and seen him, just isn’t now for some reason.

They don't like being around sheep because the oils from the wool on the sheep gets all over the vegetation. They won't really move back in until those oils come off from heavy dew or rainfall.
