Budget pack for a woman beginner

My wife has a bunch of packs, but her favorite is a kelty redwing 40w its women's specific.
Its gone on many week long ultralight camping trips as well as her hike of the Camino across Spain a couple years ago, but also not too big for a weekend or day pack if you prefer a belted pack.

There are a couple on ebay ranging from $48-100. Would definitely meet the budget part.

Its got lots of pockets for chapstick and other small items that might be needed along the way too.

Her general self sustaining target load is 15-17lbs and it seems it does that really well.

I'm actually a little jealous seeing how small even her t shirts pack up. I've seen her travel for a weekend based out of a large mystery ranch fanny pack lol.

When I got my wife a new pack-I took her to REI. They had the most to try on in store. And had her try on as many as we could and just told her to pick out what felt best to her. She picked an REI brand pack. But, it's totally fine for her-she's not doing any heavy hauls either.

But, since she picked it out. She is much more excited to use it. Then me just buying her a bag and telling her to wear it.
